about me

My approach to therapy

My passion is to help people build secure, confident, connected relationships.

You may have been thinking about seeking support from a therapist for quite a while. Maybe you’ve been struggling with anxiety, feeling alone, insecure in your relationship, or feeling stuck with distressing thought patterns that lead to an uneasy feeling of avoidance.

It takes courage to reach out to a therapist. In response, I strive to provide a warm, safe and comfortable environment for my clients to experience feeling valued and understood as they explore an understanding of the influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors have on their relationships with others, and with themselves.

Together we will get to the heart of what is getting in your way, and develop active solutions to help you feel better able to draw from your inner strength and resiliency as you face life’s challenges. With a better understanding of yourself, you will be better able to make decisions that align with your values, which in turn provides you with more confidence, clarity, and a fulfilling sense of direction in your life.

PCIT helped me improve my relationship with my son and provided me with the tools to help me react in the best manner for a given situation. Nicole was fabulous to work with and you can tell she truly cares about patients. I HIGHLY recommend PCIT to any parent that is struggling with their child’s behavioral issues”

I can provide you with a monthly statement that you will be responsible for submitting to your insurer.

My practice currently provides you with the option of meeting for sessions via video chat. If you are interested in exploring this treatment option, I will conduct a brief assessment to help us determine if teletherapy is an appropriate option for you.

What is Good Faith Estimate?

Effective January 1, 2022, a ruling went into effect called the “No Surprises Act,” which requires mental health practitioners to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” about out-of-network care to any patient who is uninsured or who is insured but does not plan to use their insurance benefits to pay for health care items and/ or services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate at least 1 business day before your next psychotherapy appointment or other service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.
